About the Role: As a Warehouse Team Member in the durable goods manufacturing industry located in Peachtree City, PTC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and finished products. Your efforts will directly impact the smooth operation of the supply chain by maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting timely order fulfillment. You will collaborate closely with other team members and departments to uphold safety standards and optimize warehouse processes. This role demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality to meet production and shipping deadlines. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly. Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory data. Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team setting. Preferred Qualifications: Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software. Experience working in durable goods manufacturing or a related industry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments of raw materials and finished goods. Organize and store inventory in designated locations to maximize space and accessibility. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures and quality standards. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and safety compliance within the warehouse environment. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and implement process improvements. Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards promptly to management. Skills: The required skills such as physical stamina and basic math are essential for handling materials safely and ensuring accurate inventory management on a daily basis. Communication and teamwork skills enable effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors to maintain workflow and address issues promptly.
