Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a dynamic tertiary care hospital. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of nursing competencies, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg patients
  • Participate in cardiac monitoring and emergency response protocols
  • Perform peripheral line care and management, including IV therapy and phlebotomy
  • Administer respiratory support, including the use of nasal cannulas and oxygen face masks
  • Follow isolation precautions as required
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current New York State nursing license (in hand)
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a MedSurg/Tele unit
  • Proficiency in Epic charting system
  • BLS certification required
