Maintenance Planner – Oil & Gas
Maintenance Planner experienced in developing schedules for routine preventative and corrective maintenance, assessing work requests and coordinating resources to ensure equipment reliability with minimal downtime for Compressor Stations, Pipelines and Cryogenic Gas Plant.
Essential Functions:
Develop, maintain and report schedules for routine, preventative and corrective maintenance with estimated resources (personnel and material), time, and costs associated with work scopes identifying equipment outages
Review and validate maintenance requests for accuracy, priority, and scope.
Prioritize and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities in alignment with production targets and operational priorities.
Coordinate with Capital Projects driven brownfield work scopes to reduce planned downtime
Open, assign, track and close work order requests in electronic maintenance system (CMMS)
Asses corrective work requests, incorporate material and resource requirements into work plans. Assist in assigning work orders
Integrate electronic maintenance system (CMMS) with schedules and resources required
Coordinate with Supply Chain on ordering and contracting goods and services to support the maintenance program
Utilize maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track asset performance and history; support Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and recommendation for spare part purchases
Utilize maintenance management system to develop annual budgets
Provide KPIs for Executive Leadership Team
Coordinating with Commercial Team to ensure notifications to customers align with contractual requirements and maintenance plans
Leading Daily SIMOPS Planning Meetings
Issue weekly and monthly reports
Maintain preventive maintenance records as required for compliance with regulatory agencies
Complete special projects, as needed
Qualifications:
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to liaise between maintenance, operations and capital program project management teams, ensuring efficient operations and effective asset management
Experience in oil and gas maintenance planning with a Construction, Operations Technical Services or Engineering background
Familiarity with natural gas processing equipment (compressors, cryogenic plants, amine treating, stabilizers, NGL pumps).
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, equipment manuals, and technical drawings
Electronic Maintenance System experience, including integrating modules for schedule and resources
P6 and/or Microsoft Project required
Power BI preferred
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with changing priorities and deadlines
Strong report building, oral and written communication skills required
Based in Houston Office with regular travel to Pecos
