Interior Designer
Location: Charleston, SC
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Interior Designer to join our team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will also bring experience or interest in K-12, higher education, and healthcare design, contributing to a diverse portfolio of impactful projects. - Lead and manage interior design projects from concept through completion, with a focus on higher education, K-12, and healthcare environments.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop integrated, user-centered design solutions.
- Prepare and present design concepts, space plans, material selections, and FF&E specifications.
- Oversee the production of construction documents and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and consultants to maintain design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project reviews.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- NCIDQ Certification is required.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio of higher education projects, K-12 projects, or healthcare projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Preferably located in Charleston, SC, or willing to relocate.
