Credentialing: Expedited
- Alaska medical license must be active at time of submission

Schedule & Call

Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Call Shifts: 24-hour shifts, typically in 2-3 day stretches
- One clinic day in between call stretches
Call Requirement: Approx. 7 days/month of 1st or 2nd call
- Includes 24-hour call for Labor & Delivery and ED

Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital
Trauma Level: Adult Level IV
Hospital Beds: 25 total
- Includes 5 Labor and Delivery beds
Settings: Both Inpatient and Outpatient
- Hospital and Clinic privileges required
EMR: EPIC

Clinical Details

Specialty: OB/GYN - General, full-scope
Procedures: No scheduled surgeries required unless assisting another provider
Duties: Rounding and admissions
Patient Volume:
- Clinic: 10 patients/day
- Labor & Delivery: 0-2 deliveries/day
Patient Demographics: Primarily adult, some pediatric and geriatric
Coverage: Not solo - second OB/GYN always on call
- 24/7 Emergency Department and hospitalist support available
