We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, beginning Dec 1, 2025. The position offers a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be board certified, comfortable working independently, and willing to manage a wide range of acute and chronic cases.

  • Schedule: 4x10s, Monday-Friday, 8:20am-6pm


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes and hypertension
  • Perform procedures such as casting, IUD placement, Nexplanon insertion, biopsies, and toenail removal
  • Vasectomy procedures available if comfortable
  • Collaborate daily with an assigned medical assistant
  • Provide care with flexibility regarding procedural comfort level


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified and licensed in Oregon
  • Required certifications: Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) is required for nurse practitioner candidates
  • The provider should be comfortable working mostly independently
  • Schedule flexibility available for certain procedures
