Position Overview We are seeking an

Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator

to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role combines

field safety oversight

with

administrative program support

to ensure compliance, contractor engagement, and smooth departmental operations. The EHS Coordinator will conduct jobsite visits, audits, and trainings with trade contractors while also coordinating scheduling, onboarding, compliance tracking, and candidate interviewing. This position is ideal for a professional who is confident working directly in the field while also detail-oriented in managing administrative functions that strengthen overall safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Field Safety Duties Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on active construction projects. Deliver orientations, toolbox talks, and safety trainings. Partner with trade contractors to enforce OSHA, company, and client safety standards. Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate site inspection reports, hazard logs, and compliance records. Serve as a resource for field teams, promoting safety awareness and best practices.

Administrative Duties Coordinate scheduling of site visits, safety trainings, and field staff coverage. Manage onboarding for employees, including documentation, credential verification. Maintain digital and physical records of safety compliance, training logs, and incident reports. Support recruitment efforts by interviewing candidates for future project roles and maintaining a pipeline of qualified professionals. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on safety performance, staffing, and compliance status. Assist leadership with background checks, certifications, and compliance databases. Provide overall administrative support to EHS leadership and project teams.

Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

– verbal and written communication. OSHA 30 required; OSHA 510/500 or other advanced safety certifications preferred. 2+ years of experience in construction safety, EHS coordination, or related roles. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and high-hazard activities (fall protection, cranes, scaffolding, excavation, electrical). Experience with onboarding, scheduling, and compliance tracking. Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to balance field and administrative duties. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:

$70,000 – $85,000 annually (based on experience). Company vehicle provided. Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k). Paid holidays and PTO.
