As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive living experience for residents.

Responsibilities: Assist with leasing activities, including processing rental applications, preparing lease agreements, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs. Respond to resident inquiries, address concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor rent collections, process late fees, and manage lease renewals while maintaining accurate financial records. Provide support to leasing staff to ensure consistent and professional communication with residents and prospects. Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning teams to uphold the quality of units, common areas, and grounds. Perform administrative tasks such as invoice processing, record keeping, and compliance documentation. Step in to assist the Property Manager with resident or employee issues as needed.

Must-Have Skills: Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a related customer service/administrative role. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Basic proficiency in property management software, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Physical ability to lift 30 lbs. and move about the property as needed.

Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience in handling resident relations and addressing complex customer concerns. Knowledge of compliance requirements and property management best practices. Familiarity with invoice processing and financial record-keeping. Experience in training or mentoring leasing staff. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
