Overview At Google, the role focuses on designing AI-powered Search experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-quality user experiences from concept to execution. You will define product goals and leverage generative AI to create seamless user experiences that blend voice and text. Responsibilities

Influence stakeholders across organizations to gain support for design strategies. Lead the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems. Own a holistic design process, system or language across teams or products. Lead design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends for further business outcomes. Guide and provide direction to UX designers in creating design concepts for user research and testing. Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product design or UX. Experience in designing AI-powered products. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). Preferred qualifications

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in product design or UX. 6 years of experience leading design projects. 5 years of experience working with executive leaders. Ability to create visionary, "north-star" product experiences with high-fidelity prototyping. About the Job Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers. We care deeply about the people who use our products and collaborate closely with engineering and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value for users and Google's businesses. In this role, you'll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. In Google Search, we reimagine how information is found and accessed. You'll contribute to solving complex engineering challenges and expanding our infrastructure while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience for billions of people. Compensation The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$315,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges vary by role, level, and location; your recruiter can share specifics for your preferred location during hiring.
