We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about HR, passionate about hospitality, and eager to grow their career in Human Resources. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in colleague engagement, recognition programs, and day-to-day HR operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain HR files and documentation
Maintenance of incoming calls and walk-in inquiries
Manage hotel-wide recognition initiatives, including service anniversaries, birthdays, awards, cafeteria theme days and colleague survey planning/execution
Coordinate and support various colleague engagement events throughout the year
Assist with recruiting efforts, including screening candidates and coordinating interviews
Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and ensuring a welcoming start
Manage offboarding documentation and procedures
Draft and send personnel announcements
Provide general administrative support for the HR department as needed
Schedule Part-time, 3 days per week (8-hour shifts).
On-site presence required (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday preferred).
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00. All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
Qualifications
Bilingual strongly preferred.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
Enthusiastic and passionate about colleague engagement and HR in hospitality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Desire to grow in a Human Resources career path.
