Summary
— The Warehouse Associate verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment within scheduled timelines.
Work schedule Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm The Warehouse Associate is responsible and accountable for: • Receiving and Off-loading materials. • Verifying counts to purchase orders. • Sorting stock materials from job materials. • Checking shipments for damage, noting appropriate paperwork. • Ensure all material is placed in its appropriate areas. • Staging of material for installation, shipment, or customer pick up. • Assist internal and external customers with pickup and loading. • Utilizing company specific software, to maintain accurate inventory. • Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment in safe and effective manner. • Make deliveries as needed. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Assist with special projects and deliveries as assigned. Essential Functions
Driving box truck, pick up, or van Warehouse functions (receiving, shipping, delivery) Forklift operation Maintaining paperwork Great customer service Computer software (Microsoft, inventory software, etc) Experience & Other Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid Missouri Driver's license. Clean driving record required. Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items throughout the day. Attention to detail. Pre-employment drug screen and background check. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance. Prior Experience driving a box truck in a
shipping/receiving/delivery
