Project Manager – High-End Residential & Commercial Construction
Location:
Salt Lake City, UT (office-based with regular travel to projects in Summit County, Park City, and surrounding areas) About New Star General Contractors For 39 years, New Star General Contractors has delivered landmark projects across Utah and the Mountain West. This is a full-time, in office position with weekly job-site visits to our Park
City and surrounding area project sites. The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead high-visibility work in our
luxury residential
and
multi-family
pipelines, with crossover to commercial and resort projects.
Candidates must have proven experience managing high-end luxury residential estates and/or large-scale multi-family projects —this is essential for success in the role. The ideal hire inspires confidence with discerning clients, is highly organized, and thrives in fast-moving, detail-driven environments. Key Responsibilities Lead planning, coordination, and execution of
high-value luxury residential, multi-family, and select commercial/resort projects Serve as primary client contact; build trust through clear communication and dependable delivery. Own budgets, schedules, buyout, and subcontractor performance to deliver
on time and on budget Oversee field operations; conduct regular site visits across Summit County, Park City, and beyond. Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and owner reps to maintain the
highest quality standards Anticipate risks, resolve issues proactively, and drive seamless project progression. Qualifications 5–7+ years
of Construction Project Management experience directly serving as a project manager. Direct, hands-on experience in high-end luxury residential (custom/spec estates) and/or large-scale multi-family
is
required Background with resort/hospitality or clubhouse projects is a plus. Strong leadership and organizational skills; able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Exceptional client-facing skills with high-net-worth and institutional stakeholders. Procore (or similar PM platform) experience preferred. Ability to travel regularly to project sites. Physical Requirements This role involves frequent site visits and navigating active construction environments, which may include: Lifting and carrying materials up to
25 pounds Climbing
stairs and ladders Walking or standing
for extended periods Navigating uneven terrain
