Job Summary

BARISTA position – part time. We are hiring immediately.

Location: Capital One Cafe-7875 Montgomery Rd. Suite 2435. Cincinnati, OH 45236. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part time schedule; open availability preferred. Friday through Tuesday, hours vary; more details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior experience preferred, but not required. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $16.50 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following production standards.
• Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Cleans equipment and workstation before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Greets customers courteously, interacts to ensure customer satisfaction and relays relevant concerns to supervisors.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently, and prevents delays in serving lines.
• Explains daily menu items accurately to customers.
• Supports selling techniques by communicating with customers to assist in purchase decisions.
• Merchandises display foods attractively and serves food neatly per standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
