Senior Estimator – Civil/Site Development

Trillium Construction is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Estimator
for a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a leading site development contractor based in the Kissimmee, Florida area. This contractor specializes in grading and earthwork projects ranging from 5 to 60 acres and offers a full suite of site services including erosion control, clearing, grading, sanitary and storm sewer installation, water line work, as well as paving, curbing, and wall construction. Position Overview: The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for civil sitework projects. The ideal candidate has proven experience in estimating site development projects and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine full scope of work Perform detailed takeoffs using Agtek or similar software for volume and quantity calculations Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals with qualifications and clarifications Track and price change orders as needed Collaborate with operations teams to ensure estimates are aligned with project execution goals Compensation & Benefits: Annual salary up to $140,000, based on experience Vehicle allowance 401(k) plan with company matching Fully company-funded employee health insurance Optional dental, vision, and disability coverage Company-paid life insurance Paid time off and holiday pay Advancement opportunities in a team-focused environment Minimum Qualifications: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Civil/site development estimating experience (grading, erosion control, utilities, etc.) Ability to perform takeoffs and read/interpret site plans Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with HCSS HeavyBid or similar estimating software Background in project or field management a plus
