Receptionist

to support the front desk operations in their Midtown office. Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr Position Overview: The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients, attorneys, and staff, ensuring smooth communication and daily operations. The ideal Receptionist is reliable, composed under pressure, and understands the importance of discretion in a legal setting. This is a great opportunity for a receptionist with strong administrative skills who enjoys being the face of a strong team. Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

Greet clients, visitors, and staff courteously and professionally.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate attorneys and departments.

Manage front desk scheduling, inboxes, and maintain accurate visitor logs.

Maintain conference room calendars and coordinate meetings and legal appointments.

Ensure reception and shared areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Distribute mail, receive packages, and assist with courier and legal filings.

Support attorneys and office administrators with light clerical tasks and document handling.

Prepare visitor badges and coordinate with building security when needed.

Represent the Receptionist team during internal meetings, events, or client visits.

Take on additional administrative and legal support tasks as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:

2 - 5 years of experience in a Receptionist or administrative role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Professional appearance and demeanor with a service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:

Previous experience in a financial firm.

Familiarity with financial terminology.

Experience with platforms like Outlook Calendars, Zoom, or Slack.

Comfort working in a high-pressure, client-facing front desk role.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
