Overview
Summit Properties seeks an Administrative Assistant for 156+ apartments in Addison County, VT. Candidate will have a focus on helping with leasing and compliance paperwork for low income housing. Hours may be flexible, but candidate will be expected to achieve 32-40 hours each week. Candidate will be a member of our Addison County Team, covering multiple properties throughout the County, including Middlebury, Vergennes and Brandon, VT.
Responsibilities
- Assist with leasing of all apartments
- Work with Compliance making sure all units are compliant with affordable housing regulations
- Communicating with all prospective tenants and applicants
- Responding to phone calls, email & website inquiries
- Maintaining and scanning resident files
- Assisting with annual lease renewals and recertifications
- Monthly reporting
Requirements
Property management, administrative and affordable housing experience is ideal. Knowledge of HUD and LIHTC programs a plus. Computer skills are required including proficiency in the Microsoft Suite. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required as the position works from two different offices, one in Brandon, VT and one in Vergennes, VT.
