Overview
Established bank in Midtown is looking to hire an AML Data Analyst for its growing team. MUST have experience with analyzing financial crime data/AML/BSA. The position is hybrid, 2x in office.
Responsibilities
- Data SME for all BSA/AML and OFAC/Sanctions systems data and data feeds.
- Supporting the calibration, optimization and performance evaluation of transaction monitoring systems.
- Assisting in the management of data processes
- Developing standard, as well as ad-hoc, reports based on FCC leadership needs.
- Documenting data feeds, end-to-end data flows and mapping from source to target.
- Designing custom structure query language (“SQL”) queries to ensure proper feed validation
- Assisting with risk assessments and model validations of the FCC’s AML and Sanctions systems
- Assisting in the oversight of FCC systems and other related functions to include (system upgrades and patches, validation/testing of transaction data feeds into the appropriate FCC systems). Design complex custom Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to ensure proper feed validation. Lead the risk assessments and model validations of AFC systems from a data perspective.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field with experience in systems administration)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in banking compliance or strong knowledge of AML/Sanctions/BSA.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Minimum 3+ year of experience with leading database solutions such as Oracle or MS SQL Server.
