The Governance and Agile Center of Excellence Team with the EPMO is seeking an intern to serve in a Business Systems Analyst role to work closely with their direct teammates to implement improvements within our area of Program/Project Management and Governance responsibilities, learning and leveraging process improvement methods. This is a great opportunity to begin thinking of leading in a new way and learning industry techniques to work in and as a team. Additionally, experience with an Organizational Transformation will be the highlight of your internship and the "dink" on your resume. Job Responsibilities:
- Work or pair with team to deliver identify and implement process improvements for EMPO - process automation, reporting, quality reviews, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documenting, requirements gathering
- Actively participate in increment planning activities that will drive to committed outcomes
- Assist and engage in key team events (i.e., planning, training, workshops)
- Support the product owner and overall team to identify and articulate requirements (backlog refinement)
- Support events with customers that aids in their learning (e.g., communities of practice, demos)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems with an emphasis in Data Analytics or Engineering.
- Experience in leading teams, i.e.in school, personal organizations, clubs
- Self-motivated, servant minded and creative
- Exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, take accountability and ownership of tasks
- Excellent critical thinking, able to solve problems quickly and creatively
- Experience with Microsoft or Power Automate automation
- Experience with Lean, Shingo or Six Sigma concepts
- Experience with Process Mapping
