Overview

This temporary Call Center Representative position offers the potential to convert to full time based on company need and performance. The hourly rate is $19. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality customer service and processing for account-based employee benefit plans within the service center, including Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), 529 Educational Savings accounts, Qualified Plan Retirement accounts and State Sponsored Retirement Program accounts.
  • Handle requests from participants, financial advisors, and plan administrators to information or execute requests on specific accounts, products or plans via phone, email, or chat.
  • Explain benefits and plan provisions, review claims information, and update account owner contacts using approved processes.
  • Support efficient administration of plans and department practices; maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; protect and properly handle all confidential data.
  • Movement between service center roles may occur to support business needs and seasonal volume; training is provided prior to any movement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, plus applicable education or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of call center or customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; familiarity with claims processing or benefit card systems.
  • Video interview assessment required after applying; prepare by setting aside 30-45 minutes for the self-guided assessment.
  • Computer proficiency; excellent listening, verbal and written skills; detail-oriented, flexible and self-motivated.
