Overview Director of Technical & Segment Marketing at Sandisk — responsible for developing and driving the product technical marketing and GTM strategy for datacenter SSDs.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive view of the enterprise SSD market – size, drivers, ecosystem, trends. Understand key suppliers, create SWOT analysis, and capture market attributes. Maintain a strong technical understanding of each supplier’s offerings (technical collateral such as datasheets, solution guides, cookbooks) as well as public announcements (blogs, PR, roadmap announcements, industry participation). Create and deliver technical content – blogs, tutorials, presentations to enable sales and showcase Sandisk datacenter SSD portfolio. Engage in outbound opportunities – channel, partner events, industry shows, webinars, and customer meetings. Interface with key datacenter market segment accounts to build a comprehensive GTM strategy that reflects customer requirements and Sandisk’s datacenter portfolio. Collaborate with Product Management to create product-related sales and marketing materials and evangelize products and product strategy internally and externally. Qualifications
BS/MS or equivalent experience required. Strong desire to take ownership of the full product lifecycle. Strong understanding of Flash-based products. 8+ years in product technical marketing.
