Position Summary & Responsibilities: Senior Administrative Assistant
This position will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls related to Unemployment Insurance Appeal Hearings and hearing registrations. They will use knowledge of the Appeals process to assist external parties to provide clear and accurate information. This role will maintain accurate daily call logs and ensure timely submission at the end of each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding Appeal Hearings and registration processes
- Provide accurate and detailed information to external parties based on Appeals procedures
- Maintain thorough and accurate daily call logs
- Submit completed logs at the end of each workday
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Appeals processes and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls in a professional and efficient manner
- Prior experience in a call-center or similar environment is a plus

The successful applicant (including new residents) must obtain a valid Kansas Certificate of Tax Clearance by accessing the Kansas Department of Revenue's website within 10 days of the date the applicant has been offered the employment position. A Tax Clearance is a comprehensive tax account review to determine and ensure that an individual's account is compliant with all primary Kansas Tax Laws. A Tax Clearance expires every 90 days.
