Medical Assistant (ADMIN)
Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant (ADMIN) for one of its clients in Washington.
This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of an extension, with competitive pay and benefits.
Location – Olympia, WA (98501)
Pay range - $25 - $28 per hour.
Length of assignment – 3 months (With the possibility of an extension)
Shifts and Schedule - M-F, Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Job Summary
This is an ADMIN position, not a normal clinic MA position.
- A clinician in this role utilizes Epic to address patient concerns and needs from incoming patient phone calls and MyChart messages.
- Utilizes Epic to address patient concerns and needs from incoming patient phone calls and MyChart messages.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and coworkers.
- Must be able to document in a clear, objective, and thorough manner.
- Previous experience with Epic and doing in-basket management/call intake required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Must have 2 years of healthcare admin experience.
- MA-R or MA-C of WA is required.
- Must have previous experience in healthcare, healthcare terminology, and Epic.
