Overview CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Facilities Engineer IV.

M-F 8am-5pm Education:
BS Degree in an Engineering field, Electrical preferred Description The Facilities Engineer IV will manage and execute facilities engineering projects while maintaining plant support systems. This includes HVAC, chillers, compressed air, plumbing, power distribution, roll-up doors, and other equipment. The role coordinates with internal teams and external vendors to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage multi-year equipment
upgrade/replacement
plans.
Oversee facilities projects from planning through completion.
Maintain preventative maintenance programs for all plant support equipment.
Develop and manage control systems for chilled water, water filtration, compound delivery and silos, BAS, and other monitoring systems.
Coordinate outside vendors and contractors (HVAC, chillers, roof maintenance, plumbing, cleaning, lawn care, snow removal).
Establish project plans, scope, schedule, cost estimates, and acceptance criteria.
Monitor plant support system performance and troubleshoot alarms.
Support plant safety and environmental programs; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Provide periodic project updates to management.
Required Experience
5+ years in facilities-related project management and working with subcontractors for building
maintenance/repair.
3+ years in controls programming and troubleshooting.
Required Education
BS Degree in Engineering, Electrical preferred
Required Skills
Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and/or Inventor
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn new systems (HVAC, BAS, compressed air, chilled water)
Desired Skills
Professional Engineering Registration or PMI certification
CFM, FMA certifications
LEED Accredited Professional designation preferred
