We work every day to drive consistency in the areas most important to our customers: Customer Service, Quality, Food, Safety, Reporting, Technology. Essential Functions: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Support routine maintenance on building systems, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, dock doors, and racking Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, hazards, or potential failures Maintain accurate work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records Assist with facility upkeep including snow removal, landscaping, and exterior maintenance Ensure compliance with OSHA, SQF, GMP, and company safety standards Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and support production schedules Participate in cross-training (e.g., refrigeration systems, advanced diagnostics) Competencies, Education, and Skills: Organized and attention-to-detail approach Complex problem-solving Ability to manage multiple work orders and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently or as part of a team High school diploma or GED required At least 3+ years of facility maintenance experience. Prior distribution or food industry experience a plus OSHA knowledge, HVAC/Electrical licenses preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability. Experience with conveyor systems, overhead doors, dock levelers, HVAC, and building systems. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Basic PLC knowledge is preferred.
