Role Purpose The BI & Analytics Lead will be the bridge between business leaders and the Data
Warehouse/Analytics
teams. This role ensures Americas has trusted, consistent data and delivers insights that drive decisions across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations. Acting as a Data Product Owner, the BI & Analytics Lead will define the data/analytics roadmap, prioritize requests, and ensure adoption of dashboards and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities Business Partnering
Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs. Translate business requirements into structured data and BI deliverables. Facilitate workshops to align on KPI definitions (“one version of the truth”).
Data Product Ownership
Maintain and prioritize the Americas analytics roadmap, balancing quick wins and long-term value. Manage reporting backlog and coordinate with Data Warehouse and BI developers. Validate dashboards and reports before release to ensure accuracy and business relevance.
Analytics Delivery & Adoption
Drive delivery of self-service Power BI dashboards across functions. Promote adoption through user training, demos, and support. Monitor usage and collect feedback to continuously improve products.
Foundations for Growth
Build and maintain a KPI glossary and data catalog for Americas. Establish governance processes for data requests and definitions. Support advanced analytics initiatives (forecasting, pricing, customer insights).
AI Readiness & Innovation Identify and prioritize business use cases where AI/ML can create measurable value (e.g., demand forecasting, margin optimization, customer insights). Partner with the Data Warehouse team and business users to ensure data pipelines are AI-ready (clean, governed, accessible). Pilot AI/ML features in the Microsoft ecosystem (Power BI Copilot, Azure, Dynamics AI) and evaluate business impact. Educate business stakeholders on AI-driven insights, ensuring outputs are explainable, trusted, and actionable. Collaborate with Global Data & Analytics to align Americas AI initiatives with enterprise strategy and governance
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
5+ years in BI, analytics, or data product roles. Proven experience engaging directly with business stakeholders. Hands-on knowledge of Power BI (or equivalent BI tools). Familiarity with data warehouses, SQL, and data modeling concepts (not necessarily building, but understanding).
Skills:
Excellent communication skills; able to explain data to non-technical leaders. Strong business analysis and stakeholder management. Ability to prioritize, negotiate, and manage a backlog of requests. Comfortable bridging technical and business worlds.
Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft ecosystem (Power BI, D365, Azure Data Lake/Factory). Exposure to predictive analytics / machine learning use cases. Prior experience as a Data Product Owner, BI Lead, or Analytics Business Partner.
