What You’ll Do Lead Analytics Projects Oversee and prioritize business-critical analytics work, owning the roadmap and managing delivery across Operations and Finance. Be a Strategic Thought Partner Clearly articulate operational challenges, design and lead data projects to explore root causes, and support executive leaders in defining data-informed improvement strategies. Deliver Executive Insights Provide monthly and ad hoc “Operations Intelligence” reporting that benchmarks partner performance, forecasts risk, and reveals underperformance. Mentor and Develop Your Team Coach analysts in technical skills and MEP business context, growing their capability to deliver high-impact results. Frame and Communicate Findings Generalize insights for broad application, and clearly explain assumptions, limitations, and implications of each project. Support M&A Integration Provide fast, accurate analytics to help onboard newly acquired companies and align them with Crete’s reporting structure. Contribute to Data Model Development Work alongside the Director to improve Crete’s proprietary data model and scope future analytics initiatives. Own and Evolve Power BI Dashboards Manage the suite of reports used to monitor operational and financial performance across Crete United’s partner network. Who You Are Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Finance, or related field 5+ years in business analytics, data science, or MEP-focused FP&A 3+ years managing analysts or leading analytics projects with mentorship responsibilities Fluent in Power BI and SQL, with a proven ability to translate data into action Deep understanding of analytics methods, KPIs, and business storytelling Preferred Experience: Familiarity with MEP industry data (especially from project controls, estimating, or FP&A) Programming in Python or R (nice to have, not required) Experience in backlog forecasting, labor productivity, or margin analysis Why Join Us Influence decisions at the executive level Manage a talented analytics team with room to grow High visibility across a national platform of commercial service providers Lead the evolution of data strategy in a fast-growing MEP network Charlotte-based preferred for proximity to Ops & FP&A teams — remote option for the right candidate Apply now
