Industrial Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

manufacturing

Washington, MO !
Salary:
$32–$36 per hour + ample overtime available Shift:
Night Shift Location:
Washington, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to minimize downtime Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints Diagnose and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electronic circuits, motors, and control systems Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and other electrical testing equipment Rebuild, repair, and install mechanical and electrical components and equipment Fabricate or modify parts and systems to support production goals Maintain clear communication across shifts and with leadership on maintenance issues Contribute to plant-wide goals for safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Minimum 2 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience Strong working knowledge of 3-phase motors, VFDs, overhead cranes, forklifts, and heavy industrial wiring Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Familiarity with PLCs and other automated control systems Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Comfortable using Windows-based software and maintenance systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills
