Local owned, small business in Stony Point, NY seeking a charismatic, professional sales associate for part-time and/or full-time employment. Must have weekend availability. Bilingual a plus. Salary $18-$25 per hour or based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.

• Utilize effective sales techniques to upsell products and promote special offers.

• Operate the POS system and cash register to process transactions accurately.

• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to provide informed assistance.

• Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

• Assist with inventory management including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.

• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally using good phone and computer etiquette.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail environments.

• Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.

• Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing.

• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends as needed.
