Overview

The San Luis Valley Rural Electric Cooperative has an opening for a full-time Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains accurate financial records for monthly reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Reconciles bank statements and maintains assigned journals.
• Prepares monthly and annual Department of Energy and Colorado sales tax reports.
• Generates general invoicing for accounts receivable and reconciles subsidiary accounts.
• Processes rebates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• Four years of accounting experience preferred.

Compensation

Starts at $34.86 - $46.81/hr with a competitive benefits package.
