Senior Accountant — San Francisco, CA

Pay: 115k - 130k (Annual)

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional for a Senior Accountant opportunity based out of San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, strong GL accounting experience, and excellent attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on GL and journal entries.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
