Position Purpose

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Human Resource Coordinator to support our Human Resources team. This position plays a key role in coordinating and providing administrative support for Payroll, Benefits, and Manufacturing HR functions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist with various special projects as needed.
  • Organize and support team member events.
  • Assist with benefits tasks, including wellness communications, benefit orientation preparations, and benefit enrollments.
  • Support the payroll team by organizing payroll documents in preparation for processing.
  • File and scan personnel documents related to workers’ compensation, benefits, payroll, FMLA/STD, attendance, and employee relations.
  • Communicate with employees and managers regarding return-to-work dates after medical leave.
  • Report initial workers’ compensation claims to insurance carriers.
  • Compile employee paperwork for internal transfers, corrective actions, and separations; communicate changes to necessary parties.
  • Assist with compensation benchmarking for manufacturing workers.
  • Prepare salary adjustment proposals and final compensation letters; communicate with payroll as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years Human Resource experience.
  • Must be able to work full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information.
  • Must pass drug screen, background checks, and any pre-employment testing as applicable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Comfortable working in an in-person office environment.
  • Technical competence is a plus.
  • Customer service oriented, flexible, and energetic.
  • Excellent follow-through and organizational skills.
  • Professional, polished, and comfortable in diverse social settings.
  • Strong desire and proven ability to learn and grow.
