Position: Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Mode: Contract

Job Description

Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, analyse and document business requirements.

Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Work closely with full stack development teams (Java, .NET, React.js) to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.

Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming and daily stand-ups in Agile Scrum environments.

Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments and root cause analysis for banking applications.

Support UAT by defining test scenarios and coordinating with QA teams.

Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring clear communication and understanding.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking or Financial Services domain
• Strong understanding of banking products, regulatory requirements and digital transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with Java, .NET, CASPNET, React.js and full stack architecture
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams
• Excellent documentation skills using tools like JIRA, Confluence and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with APIs, micro-services and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA or Agile BA are a plus
