Overview
Under the general direction of the Controller, the IT Support Specialist serves as an integral member of the Kennedy Valve Accounting team and is primarily responsible for providing technical assistance to Kennedy Valve employees across all departments, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues and support for corporate projects. The role focuses on frontline support while also assisting with infrastructure maintenance and ongoing IT initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Respond to IT service requests through the Help Desk, email, phone, and in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Configure new devices, accounts, and applications.
- Assist with network and hardware upgrades and corporate IT support tickets.
- Document ticket resolutions and maintain IT knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the existing IT staff members to support larger projects.
- Provide coverage during absences of the primary IT staff.
