Warehouse/Logistics

Coordinator to assist with our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics. You will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling logistics, and utilizing asset tracking software to maintain accurate records of our materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Track all incoming and outgoing materials supplied by STG or customers. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages promptly. Organize and label materials by job site or customer with clear, accurate identification. Chart warehouse material locations to ensure quick and efficient retrieval. Material Distribution Pull appropriate materials for job sites according to project needs and deadlines. Review material lists with crew leads prior to job site departure. Check in and record materials returned from job sites to reconcile with inventory records. Customer Material Coordination Track customer-provided materials and manage their use and return. Schedule delivery and return of unused materials to customers with proper documentation. Ensure material accountability and transparency across all projects involving customer-supplied inventory. Operational Communication Collaborate with the Logistics Manager and warehouse team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Coordinate with field crews to confirm material readiness and minimize job delays. Maintain up-to-date documentation of material transactions, location charts, and schedules.

Day-to-Day Activities Review daily job schedules and prepare material pull sheets accordingly. Physically gather, label, and stage materials for each crew’s departure. Inspect and record all incoming materials from vendors or customer returns. Update inventory systems with any changes in material quantity or location. Walk the warehouse to verify storage organization and correct labeling. Communicate with the Logistics Manager about any supply chain or delivery issues. Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and supporting safe warehouse practices.

Performance Goals Ensure 100% material accuracy for outgoing and returning job site kits. Maintain a well-organized warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safety. Reduce material errors, losses, and misplacements through rigorous tracking and control. Provide timely, accurate reporting on inventory status to the Logistics Manager. Maintain excellent working relationships with field teams by consistently preparing correct materials for each project.

Reporting Structure Reports directly to the Logistics Manager. Works closely with Warehouse Staff, Project Managers, and Field Crews to ensure seamless material flow from warehouse to worksite.

Your work as a Warehouse Coordinator ensures that STG Family of Companies' field operations run without material delays or shortages. Your attention to detail, proactive tracking, and coordination with teams uphold our commitment to delivering jobs safely, on time, and with excellence. Your role is foundational to the daily success and long-term growth of our logistics and field service operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment. Experience with inventory and asset tracking software management is required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. (certification is a plus). Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift and move heavy items, as required by warehouse tasks. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a telecom or technology-related warehouse environment. Experienced with implementation of ERP systems or other warehouse management software.
