About the Opportunity

This well-established business is ready for a dedicated leader to unlock its next phase of growth and comes with a strong team of over 20 dedicated employees. Who We Are Looking For

We're searching for a highly driven, detail-oriented, and experienced plumbing or underground utility expert who possesses the entrepreneurial spirit to lead and significantly grow this services business. This role requires a hands-on approach to strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership. Essential Qualifications

Industry Leadership:

10+ years of professional experience including experience in the commercial plumbing or underground piping industry, with a proven track record of managing and scaling relevant operations.

Operational Excellence:

Deep understanding and hands-on experience with all aspects of design-build commercial plumbing and underground utility projects, including project management, estimation, blueprint reading, code compliance, and quality control.

Business Development Acumen:

Demonstrated success in client relationship management, service sales, bidding, contract negotiation, and a strong ability to identify and capitalize on new project opportunities.

Team Leadership:

Proven experience in leading and motivating a team of skilled trades professionals, including plumbers, pipefitters, and heavy equipment operators, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring high service standards.

Financial & Business Management:

Significant experience in small business management, including budgeting, financial analysis, P&L responsibility, and strategic planning to maximize profitability.

Technical Proficiency:

In-depth knowledge of various plumbing systems, underground utility installation, relevant materials, safety protocols, and industry best practices.

Regulatory Understanding:

A solid understanding of local building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and licensing requirements relevant to commercial plumbing and underground operations in California.
