Work will primarily be within the Southern United States, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, North Dakota, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, and Florida. The work includes building renovations, new construction, pre-construction services, IT and physical security upgrades, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, demolition, civil, and utility work focusing on electrical and underground water infrastructure. Responsibilities: Support the development of the safety program, SOPs, and safety culture aiming for zero accidents. Develop and update safety and quality control policies. Oversee site safety and health officers, safety specialists, project managers, and site superintendents. Conduct training sessions, investigate incidents, and recommend improvements. Maintain safety and training records for OSHA compliance. Essential Functions and Duties: Review and update environmental, health, and safety procedures. Develop and implement health and safety plans according to OSHA and EM385-1-1 standards. Promote safety policies, ensure compliance with DOD and OSHA regulations, and conduct safety training. Investigate accidents and near misses to identify root causes and corrective actions. Manage workers' compensation claims and liaise with insurance providers. Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for crews. Maintain MSDS and first-aid kits. Maintain safety recognition programs and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations. Perform regular safety inspections and audits. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation. Work Environment:

The role supports construction efforts on U.S. Government contracts, often at military installations. Work settings vary from offices to construction sites, requiring travel and safety equipment use. The position may involve exposure to stressful or hazardous situations. The ideal candidate must work independently, be flexible, proactive, organized, and maintain professionalism and a positive attitude aligned with company standards.
