Job Description: Full Circle’s Executive Vice President of Asset Management (EVP-AM) is a leadership role and part of the Leadership Team. The EVP-AM is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the long-term performance, sustainability, and financial health of Full Circle’s real estate portfolio. The EVP-AM ensures that properties operate efficiently, remain financially viable, and provide high-quality living environments. The EVP-AM works cross-functionally with Property Management, Accounting and Finance, Real Estate Development, and Mission Impact to optimize portfolio performance and align strategies with our mission. The EVP-AM shall: Strategic Portfolio Oversight Develop, implement, monitor, and train staff on strategies that drive operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term sustainability. Monitor and analyze financial, operational, and physical performance; address underperformance proactively. Lead annual portfolio reviews, risk assessments, and capital planning processes. Financial Performance Oversee financial modeling, budget review, and variance analysis at property and portfolio levels. Track and optimize NOI, cash flow, and return on investment. Oversee third-party Property Management contracts and represent the owner’s interests. Analyze market trends to position developments effectively. Ensure compliance with lender, investor, and regulatory requirements. Capital Planning and Asset Quality Collaborate on capital improvement plans and preventive maintenance strategies. Provide feedback and best practices for development projects. Maintain assets at high standards for quality and resilience. Reporting and Compliance Prepare performance reports and present to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with financing, regulatory, and partnership agreements, including LIHTC and HUD programs. Collaboration and Leadership Lead and mentor staff; coordinate with internal departments and external partners. Recommend solutions to improve reporting, performance, and employee satisfaction. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: Candidates must have: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and 10+ years of experience in affordable housing management, including 5+ years in leadership. High initiative and independence. Supervisory and mentoring skills. Deep understanding of affordable housing programs and compliance. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to lead diverse groups and work under pressure. Ability to assess and communicate risks effectively. Our office is located in Chicago’s West Loop near UIC.
