Job Description JPMorgan’s Finance & Business Management Control Management Team is seeking a Vice President level candidate for the Payments Controls team supporting Merchant Services. The role involves development and monitoring of end-to-end controls for Biometrics and Omnichannel Solutions, enhancing the Controls Management roadmap, and standardizing business processes to ensure alignment with JPM standards. This position requires expertise in Operational Risk Assessment, Control Implementation and Execution, and Product Management. As a Control Manager Vice President within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will lead the development of an enhanced Control Framework that promotes a continuous and integrated approach to Risk Assessment. Your role will also involve ensuring that the team aids in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation. Job Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive control strategies to identify and mitigate compliance and operational risks. Utilize advanced data and tech literacy skills to interpret business needs, identify trends, and generate innovative solutions to enhance the control environment. Oversee the implementation of anti-fraud and cybersecurity measures, ensuring the protection of our operations and safeguarding against potential risks. Manage risk with a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, and ensuring alignment with operational policies and precedents. Engage with internal stakeholders, facilitating open communication and collaboration to drive mutually beneficial outcomes and uphold the integrity of our operations. Demonstrated expertise in control management within the financial services sector, with a focus on compliance and operational risk mitigation, with at least seven years of experience. Capability to implement anti-fraud strategies and cybersecurity measures to safeguard business operations. Advanced proficiency in data analysis and tech literacy to interpret business needs and trends. Experience in leading diverse teams, fostering continuous improvement, and aligning team performance with policies. Strong internal stakeholder management and communication skills. Excellent project management skills and a commitment to operational excellence. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Experience leveraging AI/ML technology in risk management and utilizing automation to improve processes. Advanced digital literacy and solid market product knowledge.
