The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, responsible for shaping the organization's approach to attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining top talent. This role involves leading recruitment and selection, adult learning, performance management for non-instructional teams, and HR operations. The Managing Director will also be tasked with designing and implementing the annual HR strategy, aligning talent priorities with organizational goals, and advising the Senior Management Team on people strategy. A key focus will be on fostering a culture where people thrive and ensuring HR compliance. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a minimum of 10 years' HR experience, with at least 5 years in a people/team management role. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in the education and/or youth development sector, and a strong commitment to making HR decisions with a focus on equity. Essential skills include a thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, effective team management, and the ability to craft and operationalize organization-wide policies.
