Crafco, Inc. has an opening for a Receiving Specialist at our manufacturing plant in Chandler, AZ. Are you an experienced and meticulous Receiving Specialist, looking to join an amazing logistics team? Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in receiving operations, inventory management, and forklift operation ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming shipments to our Crafco manufacturing facility. We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Receiving Specialist to be a part of the logistics team. Requires strong background in receiving operations, inventory management, and forklift operation. The primary receiver will oversee the efficient unloading, meticulous inspection, and accurate count and verification of all incoming parts, supplies and materials. Collaborating closely with the purchasing team, stockroom supervisor, and parts shipper, you'll ensure seamless coordination to expedite parts to their designated locations or to a location that you select and document in computer. This role involves receiving and processing shipments from carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and international sources. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in accurately entering receipt information into the SAP computer system. The Receiving Specialist will also serve as a reliable backup for the parts shipper during their absence, or if help is needed, ensuring continuity of operations and timely shipments. Specific Duties: Receive and Inspect Shipments:
Thoroughly check packing slips to verify the accuracy of parts and quantities received. Ensure all received items meet company quality standards and document any discrepancies or damages. Mark all incoming parts with part number before transferring them to the stockroom. Accurately check packing slips, inspect parts for quality, correct part number, quantity, document discrepancies and issues, and properly label/ stage materials. Inventory and Order Management:
Utilize SAP software to manage inventory, track orders, and update receipt records. Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and consistency in inventory levels. Support inventory accuracy by labeling and staging materials correctly, and ensuring timely system transactions. Place materials in proper stock locations. Shall move finished goods from the Quality Control area to the stockroom in a safe, timely, organized manner. Place parts/materials in proper locations, or create new/overflow locations if needed and update SAP. Effective rotation of stock to ensure accurate part revision levels are managed correctly. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with inventory control, purchasing, and quality teams to maintain high standards of accuracy and accountability. Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to receiving processes and inventory control. Work closely with purchasing, inventory control, engineering, stockroom personnel & material handlers, Shipping Specialist, and quality teams; clear written and verbal communication. Shipment Handling:
Efficiently receive and process shipments from UPS and FedEx. Handle international shipments with knowledge of customs regulations and documentation requirements, manage bills of lading, and back up shipping operations. Forklift Operation:
Operate forklifts to unload and move shipments within the warehouse. Maintain authorization and hands-on experience in various warehouse settings to ensure safe and efficient handling of materials. Responsible for keeping the forklift clean, free of debris under machine and around moving parts and shall perform a daily inspection to ensure safe operation of the forklift. Safely unload, move, and store materials with a proven safety record and daily equipment inspections. Computer skills, Inventory Management & SAP Proficiency:
Enter receipts, perform inventory audits, manage stock locations, and maintain accurate records within SAP or ERP systems; Microsoft Outlook for email. Must be willing to work overtime and various shifts when needed. Back-up Shipping Department as needed.

Qualifications: High School Diploma. Minimum of three years of experience in logistics and receiving operations Minimum of three years of forklift operation experience with proven safety record. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in checking packing slips and inventory records. Maintain a strong inventory mindset to ensure accurate tracking of all incoming materials and parts. Computer skills - Proficiency in SAP, or ERP systems, for inventory and order management. Strong understanding of receiving processes, including handling shipments from UPS, FedEx, and international suppliers. Cleanliness, organization of work area and equipment. Accuracy and timeliness of paperwork, reports, files, forms and proper routing. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position requires standing, walking, and lifting packages regularly. Must be able to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely. Demonstrated performance of assigned duties safe, professional manner, cooperative attitude and positive interfacing delivery personnel and with other departments. The unloading and storage of materials should be done in a safe, appropriate manner. Any other duties assigned by the Stockroom/Shipping & Receiving Manager. Attendance and conformance with company safety, operational and personnel procedures and policies.
