$100 Daily Per Diem – Paid 7 Days a Week
We are actively hiring experienced Electricians (apprentice and journeyman) for a contract travel assignment supporting a high-profile Data Center project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
This is a travel role offering a $100 daily per diem, paid 7 days a week, in addition to competitive hourly pay. Ideal for skilled electricians looking to take on a rewarding project while earning premium compensation.
Project Scope & ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrician A, you will be responsible for:
- Layout, installation, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical/instrument wiring, devices, supports, and equipment.
- Independent installation of raceways and cable trays.
- Interpreting blueprints and specifications to conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Proficiency in:
- Conduit bending
- Cable tray installation
- Wire pulling
- Device termination
- Panel installations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Blueprint reading
- Electrical installation
- Conduit work (bending, routing, support)
- Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Travel Required)
- Per Diem: $100/day – Paid 7 days/week
- Duration: Contract assignment (length varies by project phase)
- Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $47.00/hr.
