Job Description
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various systems and equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting, diagnostics, and general maintenance, contributing to the overall efficiency and functionality of assigned properties and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and housekeeping operations.
- Conduct repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop equipment, and HVAC systems.
- Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
- Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
- Evaluate and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarm systems, fire pumps, and related fire protection system equipment.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and electrical repair skills.
- Experience with conveyor maintenance and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician card, trade school, or associate degree in electrical or electro-mechanical fields.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, relays, switches, gearboxes, conveyor, boiler maintenance, motors, and photoeyes.
- Knowledge of relays, pressure switches, limit switches, baggers, weigh scales, Rotex Machines, palletizers, motors (40 HP - 125 HP), gearboxes, chillers, air compressors, boilers, dryers, and air blowers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
