Base pay range: $21.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible and accountable for the safe, timely, and accurate completion of the assigned warehouse and delivery work schedule.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Verify daily workload schedule and complete as indicated.
• Receive local incoming shipments of products and materials.
• Unload incoming trailers and load outbound trucks for product delivery.
• Verify the accuracy of orders picked and shipments received.
• Daily interaction with carrier drivers.
• Operate electronic hardware/RF units to receive material into inventory.
• Able to drive equipment such as forklift/picker.
• Check assembly quality and adhere to corporate assembly standards.
• Communicate back ordered or damaged products on orders.
• Perform housekeeping functions as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive a forklift/picker
• Excellent verbal and communication skills, the ability to effectively communicate with customers.
• Diplomacy in working with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and communicate such facts.
• Ability to cross-reference material to documentation for verification.
• Ability to navigate in a Microsoft Windows environment, including finding files in a directory structure, opening/saving/closing files, opening multiple programs, and navigating between separate windows/files.
• Experience with warehouse management software and operating handheld electronic devices.

Education And/Or Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of previous work or volunteer experience.

• Frequently lift, push, or move product weighing 1-75 pounds; push-pull or drag up to or more than 100 pounds (assistance required for anything >100 lbs).
• Must be able to use proper lifting techniques.
• Use hands/fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Clear vision abilities including near, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Environmental Conditions

The primary work location is the company warehouse facilities. The noise level is typically moderate to loud. Employees will be exposed to frequently changing temperatures and moving mechanical parts.
