DAHL is one of those trade names and is looking for a Warehouse Teammate at the Denver, CO location. Pay for Warehouse Teammate is between $20 and $25 per hour at this location.

About the Role:

Responsibilities

  • Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
  • Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders per Company policy and procedure.
  • Maintain high attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward to designated employee.
  • Identify nonstock, special-order, and damaged material and store in proper locations.
  • Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
  • Load/unload trucks and operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Inform supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged merchandise that could affect service levels.
  • Ensure security and controls to protect Profit Center assets.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety; remove debris and report safety issues.
  • Assist co-workers in servicing customers.
  • Perform all functions in accordance with company Safety Standards and complete required safety training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and management.

About You

  • 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
  • Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly develop product knowledge and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Understand and apply warehouse safety precautions; ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and other equipment.
  • Ability to learn and operate computer systems used for warehouse operations.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English; basic math (add/subtract/multiply/divide) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
