Jobot may perform background checks with your authorization, consistent with applicable laws. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and contracts. Oversee the selection and coordination of subcontractors working on various phases of the project. Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings to ensure that all specifications and regulations are followed. Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to define project requirements and establish project work plan. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards. Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities. Identify and resolve construction problems as they develop. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide project updates and build strong relationships. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry. Proven track record of managing large scale construction projects from start to finish. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards. Strong ability to plan and see the “big picture”. Competent in conflict and crisis management. Excellent time and project management skills. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in project management software. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset. Willingness to travel as required. Why join us?
