LHH is assisting a client in south Charlotte with their need for an Accountant. This is a fully onsite opportunity offering competitive benefits. Please read on for more details!

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process client billing accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Generate and analyze project reports to track financial performance and progress.
  • Evaluate profit margins on projects and provide insights to management.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Upload financial transactions and ensure data integrity within accounting systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; may consider a closely related field for the right candidate.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas required, macros desired).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with accounting software is a plus.
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
