Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process client billing accurately and in a timely manner.
- Generate and analyze project reports to track financial performance and progress.
- Evaluate profit margins on projects and provide insights to management.
- Prepare, analyze, and report on Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Upload financial transactions and ensure data integrity within accounting systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; may consider a closely related field for the right candidate.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas required, macros desired).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with accounting software is a plus.
