Delivery Service Driver

The Job

The Delivery Service Driver is essential to the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our drivers are CDL-certified and foster strong relationships with our food service customers, providing a superior customer experience on every route. As a Delivery Service Driver, you will operate an automatic, 12,000-20,000 lb. GVW straight truck on a local route to deliver products and serve as the first point of contact for customer needs.

Primary Job Accountabilities:

  1. Comply with internal processes and procedures, as well as all local and federal regulations including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
  2. Maintain a safe and clean Commercial Driver's License.
  3. Deliver and pick up products by loading and unloading trucks, connecting hoses to fill stations, and checking tanks at customer locations.
  4. Verify log information and enter data into iPhone applications, including hours of service and customer invoicing.
  5. Communicate with customers to ensure performance meets standards and customer expectations.
  6. Service customer needs efficiently and professionally, providing training on systems as needed.
  7. Ensure no oil outs and effectively track and report each customer stop.

Schedule:

Weekend Warrior Shift! 3x13s, starting at 5 pm. Work 3 days, off 4. Compensation is $25/hour to start, with an additional $5/hour for working the WW shift, totaling $30/hour plus benefits.

Education, Requirements & Competencies:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be 21 years of age.
  2. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  3. CDL Class A or B license with Tanker Endorsement.
  4. At least 6 months of driving experience or a recent CDL graduate from a credited school.
  5. Meet Restaurant Technologies' Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
  6. Ability to carry 50 pounds by hand.
  7. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, reach out.
  8. Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet high.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bilingual abilities.
  2. Knowledge and use of hand tools.
