Overview
TorchLight seeks a Marketing Manager (Contract) with strong skills in campaign execution, creative production, and digital marketing operations for a leading membership-based nonprofit organization. This role will support day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns and deliverables across multiple channels, ensuring consistency, engagement, and brand visibility.
Location
Location: Ideally, candidates are located in the DC-Metro area.
Employment
3-month contract. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week with flexible work-from-home options. References and background check required.
Rate/Salary
Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr. Note: Rates and salary ranges are commensurate with experience, certifications, industry knowledge, and technical skills and abilities.
Role responsibilities
- Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring creative consistency across digital, social, print, and email.
- Serve as point of contact for advertising sales execution, ensuring sponsor/partner deliverables are tracked, implemented, tested, and optimized.
- Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality ad placements and marketing support.
- Collaborate with leadership on campaign reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Translate organizational KPIs into actionable marketing deliverables and performance tracking.
- Manage creative production needs, adapting and resizing assets for web, email, social, and print.
- Support content, advertising, and website updates using CMS and digital platforms.
- Develop visuals and multimedia content (graphics, short-form video, blogs, social content) to boost engagement.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that build brand visibility and member engagement.
Skills needed
- 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in marketing operations, digital agency, or health care.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience with CMS (Drupal), HubSpot, Google Analytics, and email/digital marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, social ad platforms, SEM, and display advertising.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation best practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
