Overview
Our client in the collectibles auctioning space is seeking a seasoned and proactive Graphic Designer for a 2-3 month contract position. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role ideal for a creative professional with a proven portfolio of work for luxury brands. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of print materials, from single-page ads to multi-page brochures, that uphold the sophisticated aesthetic of our high-end auction categories. This is a fully onsite position in our Dallas office, allowing for close collaboration with our design and production teams and direct access to the Director of Design.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce a variety of print advertising materials, including ads, brochures, and initial project layouts.
- Manage a high volume of projects simultaneously, with turnaround times ranging from a few hours to several days.
- Translate project briefs into compelling, brand-aligned visual designs that resonate with a luxury-focused audience.
- Proactively manage your project pipeline to ensure all deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with the Director of Design and production team to ensure a smooth workflow from concept to completion.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5-10 years of professional graphic design experience, with an emphasis on print advertising.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio is required, showcasing successful campaigns and design projects for luxury brands (e.g., jewelry, high-end fashion, timepieces, etc.).
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) on a Mac OS.
- Design Fundamentals: A deep understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
