Senior Associate Recruiter at Tential Solutions
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to grow within the HR field while supporting a variety of functions. The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR team to provide administrative and operational support, assist with payroll activities, coordinate office functions, and support company culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources team.
- Manage the HR inbox, incoming calls and mail, to include responding to employee inquiries and follow-up as needed.
- Process requests such as unemployment claims, verifications of employment, and other external HR-related inquiries.
- Assist with weekly payroll preparation, timekeeping records, and related reporting.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, letters, and HR communications.
- Maintain and update employee files, records, and HR databases (Paylocity, Bullhorn).
- Property management of offices/equipment and ordering supplies.
- Responsible for company equipment and technology licenses.
- Coordinate office functions (monthly and special events).
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR team.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, management, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and in office software and applications.
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Prior internship or office experience in HR, payroll, or administration a plus, but not required.
